***
the girl in white dress
slipped through the fabric of time
she couldn't get back
***
***
the attic room
empty no more
girl in white dress
***
the child asked to leave
the sorrows of human world
elders sent her back
***
so apprehensive
at night when child went to bed
the room came alive
***
***
moisture on windows
the child gaily drew pictures
the mother annoyed
***
child roamed free o'er fields
from dawn 'til sunset, she knew
countryside her friend
***
child opened the door
dark space with stars lay beyond
child shut door quickly
***
child looked in its eyes
and saw vast spaces within
the child remembered
***
she belonged nowhere
walked a fine line between worlds
her choice where she went
***
***
today I found
a four leaved clover
in an old book
***
reading diary
not hers, from old rusty box,
echoes of her life...
***
her eyes reflecting
constant change of scenery
within she is still
***
***
last page of letter
loosened and taken by wind
before it was read
***
looked into the void
wind blowing cloak behind her
she opened her arms
***
endless apathy
caused all to fall in ruins
weeds grew straight and true
***
***
still eyes stare at me
I click camera button
frog jumps back in pool...
***
leaf held fast to tree
all winter, then sun came out,
leaf dried and fell down
***
standing on the hills
watching the eve'ning's dark sky
a star shone brightly
***
lilac blooming
early morning
fresh and fragrant
***
garden of your heart
so many happy hours
spent there together
***
heady eve'ning scents
bluebells and lilacs
waft in from garden
***
the silent house
waiting for lovers return
expectantly
***
***
you were there always
from the first day I saw you
'til the day you left
***
I blow kiss towards
my black and white cat, he winked
his right eye at me
***
***
the cat stares at me
through the window willing me
to get out of bed...
***
little kitten
with wide blue eyes
cloud in the sky
***
dragon holding egg
gently in its mouth
carried it 'cross sky
***
***
baby cloud sep'rates
from parent cloud, cries loudly
then curls into ball
***
parent cloud turns round
opens mouth, blows baby cloud
into nothingness
***
white flamingo
her head arching sky
cloud's graceful dance
***
a wind got up
chased clouds out of their playground
a clear blue sky
***
shadows falling
evening enfolding
a thought whispers
***
heavy ancient book
voluminous as forest
of dry dusty leaves
***
gath'ring the biggest
allows the smallest
develop and grow
***
clouds scuttling over
see reflection in pools
they stop and they look
***
crawling in shadow
bastion of mind rebels
oneday to break free
***
***
she dared not to stop
pushing through the boundaries
keeping hope alive
***
smiling
the wrinkled face
alive
***
respect for nature
new meaning and direction
being relevant
***
door opened slowly
a moonbeam entered, shone on
the man in long cloak
***
service too busy
I sit outside cathedral
sparrow sits with me
***
***
ruined cathedral
remnants of stained glass windows
open to the sky
***
lies in sweet repose
gentle white marble figure
hands clasped in prayer
***
***
standing alone
the tree finds its freedom
to spread branches
***
***
one voice echoing
throughout the mountains
carries a message
***
protecting new life
hawthorn's leafy green bowers
feathered wings concealed
***
walk with love
on winding mountain road
and listen
***
against the full moon
shadow of lone wolf howling
broke the night's silence
***
the wind was howling
she was searching for lost child
so disconsolate
***
***
when wind realised
her raging howling was heard
forever searching
***
old abandoned church
wind howling through the windows
echoes of sorrow
***
***
echoes of shadows
dwelling in cave of the mind
fire keeps flickering
***
the cities destroyed
the sad echoes; then oneday
first bird sings again
***
the face in mirror
smiled so sweetly back at her
made all the difference
***
***
the mirror echoed
her sadness, so her mouth smiled;
the mirror surprised
***
out of the mirror
flew the raven, carrying
a black inscribed stone
***
***
"If no appointment
then the nobody
will answer the door"
***
sun is shining here
through crystals in my bedroom
many rainbows dance
***
blue dragonflies
weaving their magic for you
before your eyes
***
butterfly flutt'ring
in the breeze wings fall downwards
clematis seedhead
***
***
I sit quietly
peacock butterfly alights
on palm of my hand
***
early morning mist
ferry boat crossing mersey
everywhere so still
***
an arched rose garden
rambling roses all colours
mirror the rainbow
***
nature's ways
will prevail
beyond ours
***
piercing ray of light
lit up the darkness
for bravest of souls
***
diving in air streams
swallows twisting here and there
need no air control
***
relationship
of poet with the world
precarious
***
there is nothing new
ideas have echoed through time
diff'rent perceptions
***
strokes of a pen
sketches on paper
germs of ideas
***
sea holding the sun
and the clear blue sky
everything shining
***
the heart grows older
return all the fallen leaves
welcome spring's fresh thoughts
***
after gentle rain
things are new again
fresh and glistening
***
raindrops slip down leaf
foliage dripping
glistening jewels
***
always there
by your side
never seen
***
***
an invented place
the sprawling suburbs
the edge of nowhere
***
a figure standing
on the island's shore
morning's mistiness
***
she stared out to sea
when she turned away
eyes peered out of waves
***
watching seas's white waves
rearing, prancing and dancing
I belong within
***
floating
in the sea of unconsious
aware
***
voices of seamen
carrying over ocean
their ships on sea bed
***
the briars shackled
the heart of the lonely rose
weeping her red tears
***
my goggles on
silk scarf flying, my plane
enters dreamland
***
on station platform
edwardian people waiting
then they fade away
***
somehow emerging
on the fleeting stage of life
something manifests
***
***
eyelids shutting fast
head hitting keyboard, am now
entering dreamland
***
spidery writing
at back of old photograph
betrayed the secrets
***
a tiny spider
quickly weaves web 'cross my bowl
of chocolate raisins
***
***
I wrote some haiku
at night whilst asleep
a spidery line
***
spidery message
'cross window, outlined by moon
then full stop, a snail
***
bewitching hour
is fast approaching, so I'm
off to my slumbers
***
